Planning for the NexGen FOIA Tech Showcase 2.0 is well underway! Capitalizing on the very successful 2022 NexGen FOIA Tech Showcase, the Chief FOIA Officers Council (CFOC) Technology Committee, in conjunction with The Office of Government Information Services (OGIS) at the National Archives and Records Administration and the Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of Information Policy (OIP), is planning to host the second virtual NexGen FOIA Tech Showcase 2.0 for federal agencies on May 14 and 15, 2024.
If you are interested in showcasing your company’s FOIA tools, check out the Request for Information (RFI) published on SAM.gov. Initial submissions are due by Friday, March 29!
The purpose of the 2024 event is to identify FOIA technology products for federal agencies in response to existing FOIA case processing and backlog challenges. Additionally, the event is intended to raise awareness within federal agencies of the different technological capabilities to consider for future case processing by leveraging advanced technology, including, but not limited to, artificial intelligence. The Request for Information call is to identify interested and capable vendors to present video-demonstrations during the NexGen FOIA Tech Showcase 2.0.
